Seminar on Laboratory Biosafety”

The
first International Seminar was organized by Pakistan Biological
Safety Association on March 21st 2009 in collaboration with
Department of Pathology & Microbiology at Aga Khan University
Auditorium.
It
was attended by more than 400 Allied health workers such as
scientists, research workers, Laboratory personnel, biomedical
engineers, nursing staff and students.
The
Seminar was addressed by national and international speakers on
topics related to Principle and practices of Bio-safety, BSL-3
Facility design, Risk assessment, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
and use of disinfectants in a health care facility.
