Message from Pakistan Biological Safety Association

It gives us immense pleasure to announce that Pakistan Biological Safety Association has been formally recognized as a member of International Biosafety Working Group (IBWG). This was announced at the 18th IBWG meeting held in Stockholm, Sweden on June 17 2009. The meeting was attended by the PBSA members via Skype connection. PBSA made its official presentation and was unanimously voted in favor of full membership status. (Minutes of meeting)

This is one of the big milestones for PBSA, and reflects towards our commitment and dedication for the cause of Biosafety and Biosecurity in Pakistan

PBSA is pleased to announce that Examination  Board of American Biological Safety Association(ABSA))  has conferred the status of Registered Biosafety Professional (RBP) on Ms Shahida M Qureshi (Treasurer) and Ms Maqboola K Dojki (Founder member & Program Coordinator) of PBSA. Congratulations to both of them

It gives us immense pleasure to share  the information  that ABSA RBP Evaluation Board (American Biological Safety Association)  has approved Dr. Shamsul Arfin Qasmi, General Secretary, Pakistan Biological Safety Association as a Registered Biosafety Professional (RBP).
